Can I Stream KLMP on a Mac?
Yes, because KLMP uses a Flash-based player, Mac users can listen to our stream using a web browser. Mac users can also listen to KLMP using iTunes by following the instructions above.
The signal cuts out and/or buffers a lot. What can I do?
There are a lot of reasons why the stream may cut out, drop or buffer, but the most common reason is low bandwidth. If you are using a lot of internet resources, such as software that uploads or downloads a lot of data, try closing that software. If you are having trouble listening in an office environment, your internet speed may be slow because everyone in your office is sharing the same internet, and that can greatly reduce internet speed.
The stream will not connect. What should I do?
If this happens, we are likely having trouble with our stream, or it is temporarily off-line for maintenance. Try again after a few minutes. If the stream still does not connect, please contact us below so that we are aware of the problem.
Why doesn’t the player window open when I click the link?
Some pop-up blockers prevent the listen live window from opening. Disable your pop-up blocker or add klmp.com to your list of trusted sites in your pop-up blocker. NOTE: You may have more than one pop-up blocker, depending on the software you have installed on your computer. Many browsers, such as Internet Explorer, have built-in pop-up blockers. Add-ons, such as the Google Toolbar, also have pop-up blockers of their own.
The player window opens, but for some reason the player doesn’t load. What’s wrong?
If this happens, try clicking the “alternate player” link in the player window. If the player still does not load in the alternate window, you may need to install Flash. Flash can be downloaded free from Adobe at www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
