We will be trying to raise $30,000 for several building and construction projects this summer in Kenya.
Did you know that 40% to 70% of the African population lives in slums. These children live in the worst imaginable living conditions-in overcrowded shacks with dirt floors and no running water or electricity. They play in alleyways covered in sewage and trash. Their parents are often too poor or too ill to keep them fed. Many are orphaned due to the high death rate of AIDS, the highest cause of mortality. You may be wondering, but what can I do? How can I be bold and do what I am called to do? Join us March 17-18th as we strive to be bold and make a difference in the lives of Kenyans. We ask you to partner with us as we raise $30,000 to help fund the building materials the local missions team will need to build facilities and construct water projects in Malinda, Kenya in June. Any amount you can give will make a 'bold' statement for Christ. Help the local missionary team from our area make their bold statement by being your hands and feet in Kenya. Prayerfully consider giving so that we can help save a child -Be Bold!
* $10 will supply 3 cement blocks *$100 will provide 100 sheets of metal *$1000 will help supply water for 7 different projects
